Created by British stationery studio Scribble & Daub, each card begins with an original dip pen and ink illustration before being traditionally letterpress printed and individually hand-painted with richly pigmented inks.
Inspired by the vibrant colour of Andy Warhol, the hand-painted finish gives every ice cream illustration its own subtle variations. No two cards are completely identical, bringing a wonderfully personal, artisan quality to each one.
The artwork is printed onto luxurious Italian deckle-edged paper, whose softly torn-looking edges and tactile surface give the card the feel of a tiny piece of original artwork rather than something destined for the recycling bin a week later.
