A gorgeous design by Ariana Martin, a pattern designer and maker based in leafy Sheffield. Ariana’s work is celebrated for being both timeless and fresh, mature yet delightfully cheerful — and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her joyful designs to the Archivist family.

Each matchbox is printed on a vintage windmill press and finished with beautiful gold detailing, showcasing the craftsmanship that defines the Archivist brand.

Founded in 1998, The Archivist Gallery is Britain’s largest dedicated letterpress printing facility. Family-run in Oxfordshire for over 20 years, they collaborate with artists across the world and the archives of the Natural History Museum to create fun, practical gifts that brighten everyday moments.
