A little bit playful and a lot more beautiful than your average salad bowl, the BlissHome Heritage Tomatoes Salad Bowl turns humble garden vegetables into something rather fabulous for the table.
Originally created in watercolour, the heritage carrot artwork has been translated into ceramic using a combination of glazing and decorating techniques. The design wraps around the bowl, while the rich coloured tomatoes have a tactile textured finish, adding another lovely layer of detail.
Each bowl is handmade by skilled artisans at a small Italian-owned factory, using fine earthenware clay before the decoration is individually applied by hand. As a result, subtle variations occur from piece to piece — making every bowl wonderfully individual.
Generously sized at 31cm, it's perfect for relaxed suppers, pasta, salads and beautifully presented sharing dishes.
