Blue Smoke Ceramic Artichoke
- Description
An artichoke, but considerably more decorative.
Our Blue Smoke Ceramic Artichoke is one of those slightly unexpected objects that makes a shelf, console or coffee table instantly more interesting.
Handmade in ceramic and finished in beautiful smoky blue tones, its layered leaves and wonderfully tactile surface give it the feel of a piece collected on your travels rather than something simply bought for the house.
At 19cm tall, it's substantial enough to make a statement on its own, but equally good tucked amongst books, candles, glassware and other favourite objects for that relaxed, collected look.
Classic enough to live with for years, but quirky enough to get noticed.

Styling Tip
Don't make it too symmetrical. Sit it on top of a couple of books, add a candle or small vase nearby and mix in different materials — glass, wood, marble or brass all work beautifully against the smoky blue.
Please Note
As each artichoke is handmade, variations and small cracks can naturally occur during the firing process. These are characteristic of handcrafted ceramics and make every piece slightly different.
Part vegetable. Part sculpture. Entirely fabulous.
