Mums. They’re the BEST, aren’t they?!

Sorry Dad’s you know we love you too, but Mums are just the greatest. So at Mad Lilies, when it comes to celebrating Mother’s Day we go all out! As it seems do the people of Surrey, who always make Mothering Sunday our busiest weekend of the year.

Falling on the fourth Sunday of Lent and three weeks before Easter Sunday in the UK, this year we'll be showing Mum just how loved and appreciated she is on March 10th.

And as Spring will be right on our doorstep, we’ll be spoiled for choice with all the gorgeous bulb flowers now coming into season. We already have gorgeous British Double Tulips, Scented Hyacinths, delicate Paperwhites and Narcissus which are always a favourite at this time of year. 

So you may be wondering, with all this floral choice what would we be choosing for our mums?

Well, pink is our most requested colour palette when it comes to Mothering Sunday and pastels always prove very popular. Scented Oriental Lily bouquets are a favourite amongst our Surrey Mums, they’re a real statement flower too and are long lasting, so a double win.
