Meet The Winter Wildling — a beautifully untamed gathering of seasonal bulbs, cyclamen and trailing greenery, freshly planted by us at Mad Lilies in Banstead.

Launching in December, each Winter Wildling is planted with a changing selection of the loveliest seasonal ingredients available to us. Think beautifully scented paperwhites and hyacinths, cyclamen and tumbling ivy, all gathered together in a characterful rustic planter.

Relaxed, abundant and deliberately a little wild, it has the feeling of a tiny winter garden brought indoors.

And part of the magic is that it doesn't stand still. Bulbs emerge, flowers open and your Winter Wildling changes from week to week — bringing something new to enjoy as Christmas gives way to the quieter days of winter.

From Christmas into Spring

The Winter Wildling begins its story in December, but it certainly doesn't end there.

As winter unfolds, the ingredients we use will naturally change with the season, moving from fragrant paperwhites and winter bulbs towards the first beautiful signs of spring.

Style yours on a kitchen island, hallway table or somewhere cool and bright indoors, or enjoy outdoors where appropriate for the individual plants included.

Then simply watch your little wildling come to life.

As with all the best things in nature, no two Winter Wildlings will be exactly alike.

Our florists select the loveliest seasonal plants and bulbs available when we create each one, so individual varieties, colours and ingredients may vary from the photographs.

The overall look will always remain abundant, natural, slightly wild and unmistakably Mad Lilies.
