Money Tree – Prosperity with Lush Green Elegance
The Money Tree (Pachira aquatica) is a striking houseplant, instantly recognisable by its braided trunk and glossy, hand-shaped leaves. Native to Central and South America, it has long been considered a symbol of luck, prosperity, and abundance, making it a meaningful addition to any home or office.
Easy to care for and air-purifying, the Money Tree brings both positive energy and fresh greenery to your space. In the right conditions, a mature plant may even reward you with clusters of creamy flowers tipped with gold and crimson stamens, followed by large fruits that contain up to 25 edible nuts — a reminder of its other name, the Guiana Chestnut.
Please Note
This Money Tree comes in a natural plastic nursery pot – the decorative pot shown in photos is not included.
Choosing the Right Decorative Pot
To give your plant the perfect fit, you’ll need to select a decorative pot separately. As a general rule, go one size up from the nursery pot. For example, if your plant comes in a 17cm nursery pot, choose a decorative pot with an internal diameter of around 18–20cm for the best fit. Explore our full plant pot collection below to find the perfect match.
