L & M - Hampton Court House

“Thank you so so much to Ali, Kerry & the team at Mad Lilies for making our wedding flowers so incredibly beautiful! I was blown away when I first walked into our venue and saw everything they had done - I couldn't have wished for more. Our bridal flowers were stunning and surpassed even my pickiest vision! Despite many covid date and venue changes Mad Lilies were nothing but lovely and helpful, even checking in to see how I was doing which was so lovely <3 They were so helpful and accommodating in arranging us to return props which made a busy time much easier. The beautiful church arrangement was used for a memorial service the day after our wedding and it was so lovely to see the gorgeous flowers being put to use again.” - Laura
Laura and Mike celebrated their marriage in July at St Michael’s and All Angels in Mickleham, Surrey. Their celebrations followed with a reception at the glamorous and romantic Hampton Court House… and even a little rain didn’t spoil their special day!
Laura and Mike had to rearrange their wedding due to COVID restrictions and so we worked closely with them through changes to their plans. Laura said: “We had quite a clear image originally for our Marquee wedding, however with venue and date changes this changed considerably! We wanted to reflect the grandeur of our venue but still incorporate some beautiful romantic elements of our original wedding vision. Both of us really wanted more of a wild, boho luxe vibe for our flowers and we feel that Mad Lilies captured this perfectly.”
We achieved Laura and Mike’s vision by using flowers with a densely petalled blousy look including Roses, Stocks, Phlox, Veronica, Clematis, Lisianthus and summer foliage including Asparagus Fern.
We feel so fortunate to have been on this journey with Laura and Mike, their wedding day was a long time coming but they were fantastic to work with and whilst it was frustrating, they took the set backs in their stride and in the end it all paid off and their day was stunning. Laura said: “There were so many special moments for us during the day, however one key standout for us was being announced as husband and wife and walking into the dining room at Hampton Court House. Looking around seeing all our loved ones so happy and smiling and all our plans and decor ideas finally come together was incredible.”
