Collaborating with 91 Magazine on a 'Curated Collection'
07 May 2019
It goes without saying that being a small business ourselves, we are truly passionate about finding and supporting others like us. There is so much local fabulousness out there and we love to spread it far and wide. So in today’s blog, it brings us immense pleasure to share with you all our brand new ‘Curated Collection’ from the sensational independent interiors and lifestyle magazine '91 Magazine'!
We got to know the lovely, (and Banstead-local) Caroline, editor of 91 Magazine after she became a regular customer of ours. After stocking the ‘91 Magazine’ in store and online, one thing led to another and the 'Curated Collection' was born.
Caroline has selected a collection of beautiful items from UK makers and designers, many local to us in Surrey and a couple a little further afield, which are now on display and for sale both in store and online at Mad Lilies 'At Home'. The range has 10 brands in total ranging from ceramics to stationery items to art prints, and not forgetting a gorgeous range of skincare!
For ceramics we have items by Raquel of ‘Glaze Me Pretty’ and ‘Hilda Carr’. The skincare range is supplied by ‘LA EVA’ (organic and oh so amazing!). Prints and stationery from ‘The Lovely Drawer’, ‘Hattie Maud’, ‘Katrina Sophia’, ‘Traces of Magic’ and ‘Maggie Magoo’. Last but certainly not least we have mini woven pots (which we have used to house Cacti – a match made in heaven!) by ‘La Basketry’ and amazing scented candles, personalised for us, by ‘Helm London’.
These fabulous items won’t last long, so if you like the look of what you see here, be sure to pop instore or shop from the comfort of your sofa by visiting our Mad Lilies at Home online store. If what you love flies off the shelf before your chance to snap it up, don’t despair, as Caroline will be rotating in new ranges to our Curated Collection. This means you’re guaranteed to keep finding new items to fall in love with – and best of all, you’ll be supporting some wonderful and local independent businesses. Happy days.
