Trying out new ideas and evolving the Mad Lilies style is part of who we are, but sometimes a wedding is just not the place to push the boundaries!
That’s where having a bunch (pun intended) of creative friends is handy. We bounce ideas off of each other, and sometimes, just sometimes, a plan comes together
and we get to spend time taking an idea into reality. Below are some of the results, we hope you can draw your own inspiration from them.
If you would like to see 'real life' examples of our work, take a look at our Portfolio page showing previous Weddings and Events we have worked on.
Talented artists and a beautiful venue, sometimes you don't need any more reason than that for a photo shoot.
As well as creating some of our trademark wedding bouquets we played with floral crowns and hair fascinators,
even Duffy the dog got in on the act!
FALLING FOR AUTUMN
A crackling open fire, flickering candles and an abundance of blackberries gave us a beautiful palette of jewel tones to work with, combining to create a cosy and romantic atmosphere; perfect inspiration for this season.

The enchanting location at Buckland Lakes was the setting for this gathering of creative minds. The marquee felt like it could be a setting for our own version of A Midsummer Nights Dream, completely surrounded by woodlands and water our inspiration was easy to find!
SPRINGTIME AT THE CHAPEL
When the fantastic Lauren at Blue Bird Creative and Emma from Miss Bush decided to host a pre-dinner drinks party Mad Lilies were super excited to be asked to inject some floral magic!
We are a huge fan of the space at The Chapel and wanted to emphasize some of its more unique features! Weaving twisted willow, foliage and spring flowers we created a deconstructed arch to make a dramatic entrance for their guests, and inside the theme continued, working with lovely Claire from Turmeric House we created a foliage rich display peppered with flickering candles and golden props to give a warm glow to a spring evening!
