Mary & Johnny on Worthing Pier
To design florals to complement this laid-back luxury wedding which will be set on the British coast at Worthing Pier. There should be a slight nod to the Art Deco era as this is the style of the wedding venue, however, the main theme should bring in elements of the British seaside along with a few touches of Grecian holidays. There is to be no set colour although greenery and foliage should be abundant to bring through that natural feel as if bringing the outside, inside.
The Wedding Breakfast will be back downstairs in the main room. Trestle tables covered in linen will seat the guests, with either wooden benches or chairs for seating. The tables will feature Greek inspiration with lots of Greenery and foliage, but at a height to avoid taking up too much table space. The place settings may be hired to create a setting befitting the couple and their wedding style.
With this in mind, we would suggest creating a style of wedding flowers and foliage that have a beautifully soft, unstructured and natural feel. The palette and choice should incline towards a textured and a foliage heavy look in shades of white and green with a sprinkling of pale blush to bring warmth and tie in with the sand of the beach. We will achieve this by using a variety of foliage’s and textured smaller flowers complemented perfectly with some densely petalled flowers such as peonies to achieve a blowsy look with a sense of tactility.
